Patti Sue West's Obituary
Patti Sue (Volk) West, age 55, of Lewes, DE, previously of Honeybrook, PA, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Abington, PA on May 26, 1959, daughter of Patricia A. Volk and the late Donald J. Volk.
Patti enjoyed a career as a groomer and caretaker for animals while living in PA. She loved and nurtured a house full of pets. She will be profoundly missed by all those who knew and loved her. We know she is held now in God’s loving arms.
Patti is survived by her husband Arthur West of Lewes, DE; mother Patricia Arden Volk of Rehoboth Beach, DE; two brothers, Mike Volk and partner Jennifer Willis of Portland OR and David Volk and wife Eileen of Rehoboth Beach, DE; a sister, Doreen (Volk) Grieve and husband Bill of Cypress, TX; and her many nieces and nephews and one grand-niece.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, 22918 DuPont Boulevard, Georgetown, DE 19947.
