Patricia Ann Ward's Obituary
Patricia Ann Ward, age 82, of Seaford, DE passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was born in Seaford on Saturday, January 16, 1932, daughter of the late Mervin V. and Anna C. (Messick) Waller.
Mrs. Ward was a lifelong resident of Seaford, who enjoyed a 30 year career as a Secretary with Tull Brothers, Inc. Some of her hobbies, when time permitted, were reading, crocheting, a good crossword puzzle and most of all cooking and caring for her family. Mrs. Ward was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Seaford, where she enjoyed the fellowship of her church family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her brother, Manning V. Waller.
She is survived by her loving husband, William J. Ward, Jr.; two daughters Rebecca A. Phillips of York, PA and Bonnie R. Kendall of Bridgeville, DE; two grandsons Andrew E. Jackson and wife Jessica of Seaford, DE; Aaron W. Jackson and wife Jill of Bridgeville, DE; one granddaughter Anna-Marie Brode and husband Robbie of Harrington, DE; one sister Ruth Foskey of Bridgeville, DE; six great-grandchildren: Amelia E. Jackson and Leo K. Jackson of Seaford, DE; Logan J. Jackson and Emorie C. Jackson of Bridgeville, DE, Robert W. Brode and Rylan M. Brode of Harrington, DE and a large loving family.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:30 AM, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 22025 Atlanta Road, Seaford, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be private.
