Just heard about the passing of Pat. She was a vibrant, compassionate person. My condolences to her family, Kathy, Joey, Michael, Suzy and Kristian, may the spirit and love of Pat comfort you.
I am Carol Forensky Bremm. I was Pats first cousin. Growing up I would spend time down at her house. I always felt that if I needed to talk to someone I could go to her. Pat and I were 16 year apart in age. She was a very special lady. I still can picture Pat on the beach watching Susie, Christen, and Mike playing in the sand. Kathy I am so for your loss. She was a very special lady.
I worked with Pat during her entire 31-year career with the Community Legal Aid Society. She was a very caring advocate who displayed genuine empathy for folks seeking assistance. She was always willing to spend extra time in interviews to ensure that individuals understood their rights and legal options. I considered her a long-term friend whose memory will never fade.

The world has lost an Angel on earth. My deepest condolences to Kathy, Joey, Kristen, Michael, Susy and family and friends. I am grateful for the years living across the street from each other, raising our kids, weathering hurricanes and managing our various pets. Pat was an invaluable advocate for all people (PEOPLE FIRST!) with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. She was patient, persevering and a problem solver. She always found the humor in situations (no matter how difficult) and let love guide her life. I am fortunate to have known her at work and at home. May the love she shared bless and continue to guide those she loves.
Please accept the correction and chagrin at misidentifying Pat. My thoughts are in every way are from my heart.
Dear Kathy and Joey, I'm thinking of you and holding you in prayer. I always enjoyed seeing Pat at church and was so happy to see Joey grow up into a wonderful young man, with the wonderful parenting he had from Pat and Kathy. Stay well and may God bless you! Cynthia Campbell and family
Pat was one of my first friends and a valued coworker when I first came to Lewes 30 plus years ago. I was happy to reconnect with her in recent years at St. Peter’s where she was married. And I too am a huge fan of Joey. Rest In Peace, Pat, and rise in glory. See you on the other side.
