Patricia A. Rossiter's Obituary
Patricia "Patsy” (Ponder) Rossiter, age 81 of Georgetown, DE and formerly of Warwick, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 15, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at her home, following a short battle with cancer. She was born in Wilmington, DE, on March 17, 1939 daughter of the late Stewart and Mary Georgianna (Sullivan) Ponder.
Patsy married the love of her life, Gordon T. Rossiter on September 17, 1966. She built a lifelong career in the HVAC industry and was a half owner of Thermal Energy Inc. She was a member of NAWIC Cecil County, Maryland's planning commission, but her favorite hobbies were spending time with family and fishing with her husband. Patsy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Patsy is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Gordon T. Rossiter of Georgetown, DE; her children: Donald L. Spinden of Georgetown, DE, Gordon Rossiter, Jr. ( Pam) of Reddick, FL, Debbie Morrison (Timothy) of Georgetown, DE, Tracy Rossiter (John) of Seaford, DE, and Kelly Rossiter (Stephen) of Dagsboro, DE; her grandchildren: Maria Hartmeyer (Philip), Rocky Donovan (Victoria), Timothy Morrison Jr., and Stephen Smith; and her great grandchildren: Alyson, Teagan, Riley, Eliza; great grandchildren by love: Za'kai and Eli; and her beloved pet, Chica.
