Patricia Lynch Hearn's Obituary
Patricia L. Hearn, age 82 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE. She was born on November 26, 1935 in Reading, PA, daughter of the late Richard and Grace (Moore) Lynch.
She married her love, Donald P. Hearn, at St. Edmond Church in Rehoboth Beach and together they enjoyed 64 years of wedded bliss.
Mrs. Hearn began in 1982 a successful realestate career in Sussex County which she was currently engaged in through Berkshire Hathaway/ Gallo Realty.
Mrs. Hearn was a devout Catholic and very active in the parish of St. Edmond. She attended Mass regularly, was a member of the parish council, liturgy committee, served as a minister to the sick, and was a funeral coordinator for the church, and a member of the Rehoboth/Lewes Association of Churches Committee. Mrs. Hearn was also an avid reader, taking pleasure in all kinds of books and stories. Above all, she cherished time spent with her adored family. Mrs. Hearn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hearn was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Polite; and her granddaughter, Danielle. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald P. Hearn of Rehoboth Beach; her sons: Donald Paul Hearn Jr of TN, Lyle Hearn (Kimberly) of Tridelphia, WVA, David Hearn (Diane) of Germantown, MD, William Hearn (Laurie) of Frederick, MD, and Thomas Hearn (Amber) of Wilmington, DE; her daughter, Lauren Lavallee of Knoxville, TN; her 17 grandchildren; and her 4 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Following the service, a reception will be held at The Forgotten Mile Restaurant on Rt. One in Dewey Beach. Entombment will be held at Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, DE, at a later date.

Floral Orders are to be delivered to the Lewes Funeral Home on Saturday by 5 PM.
