Michael, Eric and Wendy, Sorry to hear about your mother. We continued to exchange Christmas cards all these years. Seeing her picture brought back fond childhood memories.
We have had the pleasure and fun of knowing Pat since 1998 when we purchased a home in Henlopen Acres, just a few doors away Earl and Pat.In the 13 brief years of that friendship, we were blessed to have spent time with Earl, become close friends with Pat, and shared many moments of joy with the entire family.
Our daughters have become good friends with Wendy and our grandchildren,Stephen and Kaitlin are friends and fans of Talbot.
All of this is a wonderful reflection of Pat's zest for life, family and friends. We will miss her but always remember the wonderful times we have spent with the entire family.E
Michael, Eric and Wendy -- My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your mother. As I read the "Life Legacy" it made me smile to notice how well it was written and to think how much my "Aunt Pat" would have liked the eloquent language. My parents and I were reminiscing this morning about how as a very small child I used to repeat Aunt Pat's phrases like "Gregg, stop being so pugnacious." People would hear me and wonder where a small child acquired such an unusual vocabulary. You might know that my parents still live in the same house. When I visit them and look over the embankment next door, seeing your house always evokes fond memories of my "Aunt Pat and Uncle Bud."
Michael, Eric and Wendy:
Our sincerest sympathy to you in the death of your devoted mother. Becoming your
next-door neighbors 44 years
ago, our families' journey crossed so many times with pleasured reflections.
We both speak of your parents
with great warmth, smiles
and valued memories.
May you and all your children
carry in your hearts the devotion for Mom and Dad and
may their love for you be a
consolation in this time of
grief.
Pat was like a second Mom to me growing up and even after I left home and started my own family, she was always there for me with advise and love. Even though she is now with Earl, who she was dedicated to and loved so dearly, she will sorely be missed. I love her.
Dear Wendy,
Thinking of you and your family. Tough we didn't know Pat long, she certainly touched our lives. She certainly wll be missed, but will always be în the hearts of us all. So glad we got to meet you at the hurricane Irene dinner. Blessings to you and your family. Til we meet again...
