I have never met anyone who loved the Beach as much as Kelly did. She was always so positive and full of life. She would hop in her car and drive miles to help her family and friends. She LOVED her Grandchildren and her children. She would greet you with Hello Gorgeous and whatever else was going on, you knew time spent with her would be full of encouragement and food. She told me that she so missed her long talks with her husband. May she be getting him up to date and sitting by her beloved Ocean.

To Kelly's family,
I met Kelly back in the 80's when Ed first hired me to do some home improvements at their house off Reynolds Rd. They both became friends as well as good customers while I was in business. I remember Kelly as an energetic and enthusiastic mom to her three young (at the time) children, and someone who was willing to engage in discussion on just about any topic under the sun! I enjoyed those discussions.
Many years later later, Kelly provided me with much needed encouragement as I pursued a mid-life career change into public education. I recently retired after 25 years as a high school teacher, and Kelly is one of the people who helped push me down that path. I'll be forever grateful!
My condolences to Kelly's family and friends. She was one in a million!

To Katie and family...I am so sorry for your loss. I was blessed to be part of the weekly meditation group when she lived in Binghamton. She was so funny and caring...going to miss her..🙏💜💜💜
My sincere condolences to Kelly and her family. I met Kelly my first year of teaching at BOCES. (I was 21; she was 23!!) Her warmth, friendliness and sincerity were apparent. She was so helpful, assisting me in navigating that initial year as a new teacher in a new city. We had numerous fun times in those early, carefree years, attending many get-togethers, parties and other events with faculty friends. She often invited me and others over after school for dinner at her and Ed's apartment on Floral Avenue. The tuna casserole was always a tasty culinary delight for us as well as enjoying the company.
As time passed, Kelly taught at Ben Franklin School and we became colleagues once again. She was a caring, excellent teacher.
May she rest in peace for all eternity 🙏🏻💐
Dearest Katie, Mike, John & your families: Tom & I were so very sorry to learn last week of your mom’s passing. So many wonderful memories come flooding back of sharing all those years when you were growing up & times spent at both your home & ours with summer pool time, overnights, school events, riding bikes & more. Time spent with PTA and building the playground at Harry L. We will cherish all those memories & more of your mom -she was a special friend. We are so very sorry for your loss.
