Patricia T. Galpin's Obituary
Patricia T. (Trundle) Galpin, age 67, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. She was born March 29, 1939 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy (Miller) Trundle.
Mrs. Galpin was an expert seamstress and craft person. She was also an artist who worked primarily with fiber and textiles and she also painted. In her free time, she volunteered at Beebe Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd L. Galpin (1999). She is survived by her daughter, Pamela H. Rubin and her husband Robert of Poolesville, MD; her son, Dan Herbert and his wife Marilyn of New Market, MD; one grandson, Dustin Herbert; and her sister, Joanne Thorpe of Prescott Valley, AZ.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2007, 3 P.M., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE with Pastor Charlie Arnold officiating. Entombment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
SECOND SERVICE IN MARYLAND:
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 23, 2007, 3 P.M., at Monocacy Valley Church, 9861 Old National Pike, Ijamsville, MD 21754 with Pastor Mark Vandermeer officiating.
