Patricia Jay Clark's Obituary
Patricia Jay Clark of Rehoboth Beach, DE, departed this world peacefully on March 21, 2022, shortly after celebrating her 91st birthday. Born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1931, in West Roxbury, MA, she was the daughter of the late James Joseph and Katherine Doris (Fleming) McWeeny.
In addition to her parents, “Pat”, as she was known to her many friends, was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Arthur George “Clarkie” Clark; her sons: Philip Arthur Clark and Matthew Clark; and her great granddaughter, Norah Alexis McDaniel.
She is survived by her children: Joyce Ellen Mayer (Don), Fr. Joseph Clark, Lawrence Clark (Dawn), Virginia “Ginny” Collins (Stephen), and Edmund “Ted” Clark (Lauren); her 16 grandchildren; as well as 5 great-grandchildren and two on the way.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Interment will follow the Mass at All Saints Cemetery, 20274 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson, DE.
