Patricia Ann Borsuk's Obituary
Patricia (Pat) Ann McDonough Borsuk, 74, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, passed away on September 8, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, Nanna, sister, and aunt.
Born in Larksville, Pennsylvania, on February 2, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret McDonough. Pat leaves behind her loving husband, Peter Borsuk. Together, they celebrated 53 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children: Peter Borsuk and his wife Alyssa, along with their children Natalie, Caitlyn, and Brendan; Kimberly Akers and her husband Richard, and their children Rory and Andrew; and Megan Borsuk and her children Isaac and Griffin.
Pat was the unwavering pillar of strength for both her immediate and extended family. Known affectionately as Saint Pat for her boundless kindness, patience, and gentle spirit, she lived a life rooted in love and selflessness. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her seven grandchildren, cheering them on in every activity and milestone.
Always impeccably dressed with an enviable wardrobe and an endless closet of shoes, Pat had a signature style all her own. She loved a good happy hour and was especially known for sipping her favorite beer, always in a wine glass, no exceptions. Among her most cherished traditions was the annual family beach week with the entire McDonough clan, where laughter, stories, and togetherness created lasting memories.
Pat was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her siblings: Mary Winans, Margaret Gallagher, Joseph McDonough, Denise Opet, and Robert McDonough.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and quiet strength that will continue to guide and inspire her family for generations to come.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, Delaware.
