Parker E. Failor's Obituary
Parker E. Failor, age 71, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 19, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Parker P. and June Elizabeth (Sweeney) Failor.
Mr. Failor and his wife relocated to Delaware 60 years ago. He enjoyed a long career with Acme Food stores working both in Pennsylvania and Delaware. He then worked for Graves Uniforms store in Lewes for 20 years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a regular "Jack of All Trades." He was married for 56 years; he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Joan (Ingram) Failor; two daughters, Iva Jane Fagan and husband Luke of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Christine McCarty of Lewes; and one granddaughter, Ragen McCarty of Lewes.
There will be a Graveside Committal on Friday, January 15, 2:00 PM at Henlopen Memorial Park, Delaware Route 1, Milton, DE. Pastor Larry Wanaselja will be officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Enterprises, Inc., Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
