Paricia Lynam's Obituary
Jack Phillips, 66, of Rehoboth Beach, DE departed this life on February 17, 2006 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE.
He graduated from Rehoboth High School, Class of 1957 and was very active in sports. He was a 1957 participant in the Blue Gold Game and still holds a record for that game. He then attended Wake Forest University. For many years he served on the Rehoboth Beach Life Guard Squad. He was a member of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge, Lewes. Fishing, hunting and outdoor sports were very special to him.
He was born on April 7, 1939, in Lewes, DE. Son of the late John T. Phillips and Mildred (Smith) Phillips.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Marianne M. (Vehvilainen) Phillips, a daughter Carla, a son J.P., and a daughter Sharon.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Cemetery, Rt. 23, Angola, DE.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heart Center Foundation at PMRC, 100 E. Carroll Street, Salisbury, MD 21801-5493
