Olive was one of my dearest friends growing up on Smith Island. Her mother was like second mother to me, and I spent many days at their home. one of her favorite sayings was” you ain’t crazy” and anyone who knew her knew what she meant by that. Rest in peace olive you work for it and you’ve earned it.
No sweeter person existed than Ms Olive. She was an excellent Court Clerk and she was the one bright spot in civil court when I was assigned to work there. Her cooking was AMAZING as was her ability to love unconditionally. Her star shines bright tonight!
Olive, was an excellent clerk and a good friend. She brought a smile to everyone’s face that she worked with. That, in my book, is the highest compliment in life.
