Norman H. Thomas' Obituary
Norman H. Thomas, age 82, of Milton, DE died Monday, July 3, at Milford Bayhealth Center, Milford, DE. Mr. Thomas was born April 9, 1924, in Farmington, DE, son of the late John Thomas, Jr. and Carrie Hood (Betts) Thomas. He lived in Milton most of his life.
Mr. Thomas had been employed as a security guard in the construction industry. He was a Delaware State Skeet Champion and a member of the National Skeet Association. He was a World War II Army veteran; a member of VFW Post 6984; and American Legion Post #19 in Laurel, DE.
He is survived by his long time companion Sara Wooten of Dover, DE; two daughters, Robin L. Parker and Michele Guerin, both of Georgetown, DE; one son, Jack Thomas of West Lake, LA; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Committal Service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 1 PM, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, Federal Street, Milton, DE 19968.
