I just learned of Norm's passing today (August 6, 2025). I had the pleasure of working for Norm when he was my supervisor at Zemco Tool and Die in Williamstown from about 1995 until his retirement in March of 2000. Norm was a great mentor, both in my career as a designer and a young man. He gave me great advice and was always help out with problems. His wisdom, insight and problem solving was a great asset to our company and to my learning. I keep in touch with Norm for many years after his retirement through phone calls and email. I had always planned to make a surprise visit to him in Delaware, but just never got the time to do so. Unfortunately, life gets us busy and I lost touch with Norm of few years back. God Bless you Norm. You were a wonderful man and a wonderful friend.

Mr. Norman struck up a conversation with my husband and I in 2012, when we moved in our home just around the corner from him. We had many conversations over the years about our military service and he became a father figure to us. He was one of the sweetest men we've ever known. He spoke often of his beautiful wife Eileen.
