Norman E. McBride III's Obituary
Norman E. McBride III, age 54, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at his home. He was born April 20, 1954 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Norman E. McBride, Jr. and his mother Marilyn (Thompson) McBride of Claymont, DE.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kim R. McBride; his son, Lucas McBride of Rehoboth Beach; his grandson, Noah McBride of Millsboro, DE; mother- and father-in-law, Stan and Lois Carter; four sisters, Michele Kremer of Marshallberg, NC, Joanne McBride of Claymont, DE, Susan Clement and her husband Alex of Wilmington, DE, and Marilyn McBride of Wilmington; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Norman was a self-employed painter of residential dwellings. He loved fishing and walking the beach. Playing with his grandson Noah was a favorite pastime as well. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2009, 3:00 PM with Rev. Dale Dunning officiating at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE where friends may call beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Jusst Sooup Ministry.
