Nolan E. Wilcutts' Obituary
Nolan Everett Wilcutts, age 61, of Bridgeville, DE passed away on November 19, 2016 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital due to a heart illness. He was born in Dover, DE on February 7, 1955, son of the late Ernest and Regina (Kelly) Wilcutts of Dover, DE.
Nolan lived, worked and played most of his life in the Dover and Harrington areas of Delaware before moving to the Fox Glen Community of Bridgeville, DE, with his loving wife Rebecca. Nolan enjoyed living in Bridgeville where he was happy and loved his neighbors. Nolan had a great sense of humor and loved teasing his family, friends and neighbors. Nolan retired as a Sales Representative from Morton Builders after 24 years of service.
Some of his lifelong interests were surfing and fishing. He was a member of Kent Kart Racing Club where he had mastered the skill of Enduro Kart Racing winning many championship races. He was a member of the First State Corvette Club and the past Director and Assistant Director of the Delmarva Harley Owners Group (HOG Chapter). Nolan was also a member of the Team USA Sporting Clay Association and the team won the Olympic Bronze Medal in England in the year 1998. Team Beretta sponsored Nolan for many years as he won many State competitions.
His life and memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Rebecca Wilcutts (DeCarlo) ; along with his daughter Amy, stepdaughter Courtney Marie, stepmother, Mary Wilcutts, brother, Thomas Baker, and cousins Ronnie and Alicia Wilcutts. He was preceded in death by brother Ernest Wilcutts and sisters, June Ann Hickman and Marie Kisner.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE 19933 where friends may call beginning at 4:00 PM.
