Newell C. Taylor's Obituary
Newell C. Taylor, age 87 of Millsboro, DE passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was born on October 25, 1934, in Hockessin, DE, son of the late William Taylor and Elizabeth L. (Williamson) Taylor.
Mr. Taylor graduated from H. Fletcher Brown vocational High School in Wilmington, DE. He was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the US Navy. After his honorable discharge, Mr. Taylor enjoyed a lifelong career as a service technician working for Verizon. He had many and varied interests and hobbies. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Ionic Lodge #31 AF & AM in Newport, DE. He was an avid outdoors person and enjoyed biking and sightseeing. Above all. Mr. Taylor cherished time spent with those he held most dear. Loved by many, he will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy Taylor; his son, Thomas Taylor; and his four brothers. He is survived by his grandson, Brian Taylor of Georgetown, DE, and his great grandson, Zachary Taylor; his granddaughter, Rebecca Taylor of Milford, DE, and his great granddaughter, Abigail Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
