Neil G. Xenos' Obituary
Neil G. Xenos, age 71, of Lewes, DE, passed away Tuesday, July 25, at Beebe Medical Center after a long illness. He was born November 10, 1934 in St. Louis, MO, son of the late George and Eva (Brosius) Xenos.
Mr. Xenos moved to Sussex County 20 years ago from Delaware County, PA. He was an active Flotilla Commander with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary in Lewes. He was also a veteran of the Korean War serving as a radarman. He enjoyed fishing and was very creative on his computer. He especially loved caring for his many grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Paula (Easley) Xenos; four daughters, Cheryl Stinson and her husband William of Lewes, Amy Xenos of Millsboro, Shannon Xenos and Tabitha Couchman, both of Lewes; six granddaughters, Jessica, Ashley, Emily, Angela, Alyson and Stephanie; and one grandson, Gabriel.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 31, 2 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Randy Booth will be officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lupus Foundation, 405 Burnside Blvd., Wilmington, DE 19801.
