Nancy J. Seitz's Obituary
Nancy J. Seitz, age 76 of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 09, 2017, after a long battle with cancer, at her daughter's home in Lewes, DE. She was born Saturday, October 04, 1941 in York, PA, daughter of the late Stewart and Juanita (Jones) Klinedinst.
Ms. Seitz was a graduate of William Penn High School in York, PA, Class of 1959. After high school, she forayed into the world of modeling and participated in that industry, however, her life's passion was taking care of others. She worked as a home health aide for the Visiting Nurse Association of York, PA and did private home care before moving to Delaware. After moving to Delaware, Ms. Seitz enjoyed working in activities at Lewes Convalescent, Renaissance Healthcare, and Brandywine Assisted Living. She was active in the Jaycee Wives and other community organizations in her earlier years. Ms. Seitz loved spending time at Cape Henlopen State Park and downtown Rehoboth Beach. More than anything, however, she cherished moments spent with her family and friends; especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Seitz was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Innerst of Rehoboth Beach, DE. She is survived by her daughters: Stacie Barlow and her husband Philip of Stewartstown, PA and Erica Smith and her husband Colby of Lewes, DE; her grandchildren: James Barlow, Megan Barlow, and Erin Smith; her brother, Craig Klindinst and his wife Debbie of Matthews, NC; her sister, Donna Miller and her husband Rodney of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her brother-in-law, Claire "Bud" Innerst of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ms. Seitz's memory to the American Cancer Society: P.O. Box 163; Salisbury, MD 21803.
