Nancy M. Rodenbaugh's Obituary
Nancy M. Rodenbaugh, age 81, of Lewes, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, March28, 2015, at her home. She was born on May 12, 1933, in Yorklyn, Delaware, daughter of the late Howard Allen and Martha Agnes (Peirson) Magargal.
Mrs. Rodenbaugh enjoyed a 16-year career as a Senior Secretary at the DuPont Company in the Legal Department, finishing her career in the Patent Division. After retiring to the Lewes area, she worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Parsell Funeral Homes. She was a lifelong member of Five Points Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; a member of AARP; and an advisor for Bethel 9 of the International Order of Job's Daughters. She was also an avid bowler and enjoyed gardening in her yard. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rodenbaugh was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward P. Sturgis and her brother, Howard Allen Magargal, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Rodenbaugh of Lewes, Delaware; a daughter, Sharon Sturgis and her partner Michael Cofield of Milton, Delaware; two step-sons: John and his wife Terry of Delmar, Delaware and Gregory and his wife Dawn of North East, Maryland; two grandchildren: Malinda Malin and her husband Thomas Malin Jr. of Georgetown, Delaware, and Michael Dolgas of Milford, Delaware; and two great-grandchildren: Braydon Rogers and Makenzie Malin.
