Nancy Lou Myer's Obituary
Nancy Lou Myer, age 59, of Bridgeville, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was born in Easton, MD, on March 16, 1955, daughter of the late Arthur L. Beauchamp and Wanda (Hensley) L. Walker.
Nancy was employed at Solo Cup Company in Federalsburg, MD for 22 years. She enjoyed reading, camping and making crafts, such as macrame. She was an excellent baker and always cooked delicious meals for her dear family. Most of all she loved family gatherings, especially around the holidays, where she showed her love through cooking. Nancy adored her beloved Westie and Katie, who stole her heart. She was a member of the Denton Wayside Church of Christ in Christian Union. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Linda L. Beauchamp. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Myer, Jr.; two sons: Christopher Mumford and Ralph Myer III, both of Bridgeville, DE; her daughter, Kelly Mortan and her husband Ryan of Seaford, DE; her grandson, Austin Mortan of Seaford, DE; her brother, Phillip Beauchamp of Bridgeville, DE; her sister, Phyllis Murphy and her husband Walter of Bridgeville, DE; her three nieces and four nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at the Bloomery Cemetery, 28085 Bloomery Road, Federalsburg, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
