Nancy Glorioso's Obituary
Nancy Glorioso, age 70 of Millsboro, DE, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
Born Vincenza Zaccaria in Sicily on January 24, 1951, Nancy immigrated to the United States at age 3. She grew up in Brooklyn and Queens, New York and lived in Massapequa, New York for 18 years before moving to Delaware in 1994. Over the years, she worked as an administrative assistant at Chemical Bank in New York City, owned and operated a deli and catering business with her husband, was a manager at Old Navy, and cared for her family. She owned and operated The Fabulous Dress in Rehoboth Beach from 2010 to 2020.
Nancy had a passion for reading and music. She was proud of her Italian heritage and New York upbringing. She was an effortlessly wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and many wonderful friends.
Nancy was an adoring and exemplary wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Richard; her children: Richard (Cari) and Alessandra (Gregory Bardin); her grandchildren: Carissa and Carisma Glorioso, and Raphael Bardin; her sister, Mary (Donald) McDougal; her nephews: Joseph, Donald, and Sean McDougal; her niece, Rose McDougal; her great-nephews and nieces; and many cherished friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10 AM. Burial will be private.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic social distancing protocols must be observed and masks must be worn by everyone participating in any aspect of the service.
