Muriel Mottershead's Obituary
Muriel "Muzzie" Mottershead, loved bridge, golf, travel and laughter, died peacefully with her daughters by her side at Cadbury At Lewes, Monday, October 22, 2010. Three weeks after her 93rd birthday which she celebrated with friends at Jake's Seafood Lobster Night.
Born September 30, 1917 to George Henry and Eva Johnson Muller in Hawthorn, NJ. Wed to the love of her life, James Frederick Mottershead August 9, 1940. Traveled extensively living in New Jersey, Connecticut, Easton and Oxford, MD, Merida, Mexico, Vero Beach and Venice, Florida.
Survived by daughters Janet M. O'Donnell (Mrs. Patrick E.) of Washington, DC and Rehoboth Beach, DE and Susan M. Disston (Mrs. Morris) of Philadelphia, PA and Castine, ME One sister, Dorothy Muller Yennie of Tuxedo Park, NY and Tucson, AZ. Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 4, 11:00 AM, at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Street, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
