So sorry to hear of your loss. What a lovely lady. It makes it more difficult not to be able to gather together with family and friends to celebrate her life I am sure. Take care and know that we are thinking of you all and saying prayers. Linda and KIrk
Thoughts and prayers with all of you. Although I didn't know your mom well, and only get to see a few of you once in a while, hearing of her passing brings back so many memories of growing up in the good 'ole days of Rehoboth. From our elementary class trips walking to the beach, hanging out at the bowling alley and skating rink, Pappys, Snyders, Nicolas, riding back and forth from Lewes to Rehoboth on weekend nights, and partying at the Country Squire. What a great place to grow up our parents gave us!
My condolences to the Reed family my pleasure to meet such a beautiful outstanding lady and a wonderful family ... She will truly be missed ... heaven has gained another angel
I am so sorry to hear that Midge passed. Being neighbors on Rodney Street, I have many fond memories of all the fun we had and parties at the Anderson's. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Reed family.

My heart will be with your family and I will be saying prayers for you all in hopes that your hearts find peace and comfort soon. She was a strong, knowledgeable, fun yet always a lovely lady. Her wealth of knowledge taught me many things and she often gave me the strength to pursue so many projects over the years. I alway admired her. She will be missed and YES she should have been the second lady Mayor of RB as it would have been her true calling. She will be missed by so many and especially me. Patty
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Reed family at this very difficult time of their mom's passing. We admired Midge for being a person of great strength and courage.
She was a kind, caring, wonderful friend and neighbor who devoted her life to her family.
Our very special friendship evolved from our families being "beach neighbors" for 4 generations. We cherish wonderful memories of the happy times: the many long talks on her screened porch, dinners out and in, keeping abreast of family events, and discussing Rehoboth politics and news. We learned early on that if you wanted to know what was "really" going on at Rehoboth, Midge was your source. Unbeknownst to her, we dubbed her the unofficial "Mayor of Rodney Street", and we know that she is chuckling now at this appropriate title. We will forever remember these beautiful memories and are honored to have known your mother. She was a true blessing in our lives and we will miss her. Rest In Peace Midge, we love you.

Midge was a special lady always stopping to chat on her trips around the block. She loved her family and Rehoboth.
Midge may have had 5 children of her own, but she had a hand in raising many more. Growing up one street over, her door was always open and there were always kids going in and out - I remember - I was one of them.
I am truly saddened by Midge's passing. She has left quite a legacy in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!
The Dean family will keep all the Reeds in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to learn of Midge’s passing. She was always a delight and a great resource for Rehoboth history and neighborhood support. We’ll miss her. In time we hope her family will take comfort in knowing she had a long, full life and in recalling happy memories of her.
