Michelle R. Linehan's Obituary
Michelle R. Linehan, age 73, of Milton, Delaware, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at Beebe Hospital.
Born on April 18, 1952, in Washington, D.C., Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Maryland in 1979. She later completed a Master’s degree in Human Sciences at Hood College in 2012. Michelle devoted much of her professional life to administrative work in a variety of settings and retired from Hood College in 2012. She also cherished the years she spent at home raising her daughters.
Michelle found joy in time spent with family and friends, playing games, volunteering, and enjoying the outdoors. She will be remembered for her bright smile, kindness, warmth, and resilience. Michelle’s presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Ed; her daughters, Amanda and Kathryn; and her sisters, Barbara and Caroline.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewes, Delaware, on February 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m.
