John “Salami”
Mike and I met on the dodge ball court in gym.I believe it was 8th grade.He was “Scoop” and I was “iron Chest” for our dominant skills at the game.I believe Mike came up with these names.
Mike would become one of my best friends in High School
.Our Crew was a list of characters!
Mike,or “Smooth”’as we called him was our leader.Mike had style,with his cars,annd his obsession with Howard Stern or the band U2.
Mike with Pete were also the “Boss” at Zanowic’s Sunoco,who was my employer,and later my Fathers employer.
My time there with Mike,Pete and Jimmy “Biggs”’Campagnola was for many years, filled with laughter and shenanigans! Literally some of my most fondest times!
Mike was a hero to us in many ways,always having a witty and comedic look at any situation,
He was my parents favorite friend! Winning my Dad over was not easy,but Mike did.
