I am so very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I have so many fond memories of him. He was a great guy who’ll be sorely missed. He was my karaoke buddy back in the day and was with me when I launched Starry Nite Productions. I will think of him whenever I hear Garth Brooks’ “The Dance”. Rest In Peace, Mike.
Georgia, may God bless and comfort you and the entire Toohey Family. I lift you all in prayer.
Only knowing mike for a few years and I know that he left us too soon! Always there with a smile or laugh and finding/seeing the best In situations and people. I enjoyed time with him immensely whether it was watching him fall off his chair while in a meeting, talking football, learning about his animal loving nature, family, BBQ or smokIng meats, microbrew beer, working in a restaurant for fun, or countless other things that we spoke of in the little time I had with him.
Living in NJ did not make getting together easy outside or work nor did the fact that he worked out of an office an hour away from mine and I wasn’t even an office person. It didn’t matter. We always found plenty to talk about and just enjoy life despite the challenges we faced on our shared project.
I can’t believe he’s gone! I feel like I just lost a longtime childhood friend and if he had that effect on me in such a short time then I’m sure that others know the feeling. He brought people together whether they had disagreements or different perspectives, mike had a way of speaking that was non threatening and understanding. That’s a skill in today’s world for sure. He would also have terrific insight into process and how things worked. You just had a to be patient allowing him to describe how it worked to you 😊.
I miss you already my friend so the shared BBQ and microbrews will have to wait until I join you someday. Heaven just got a little bit brighter and I will do my best to keep what you taught me close to my heart making the world a better place. Rest In Peace. Andrew
A donation was made in Michael’s name to Grass Roots Rescue for the animal lover in him.

Georgia, My thoughts and prayers to you and family, mike is so missed at Christiana care . His laughter and smile even in the bad times made my day, he sure loved you and the animals. A lot of stories were told of his beaching days, and cookouts . He will always be remembered at ccvna. Hugs to you , god bless Terry Collins
Friendship is a fragile thing:
a gossamer web, a fairy wing.
Yet none of the bonds contrived by man
will ever bind as friendship can.
Mike, you will surely be missed by all your friends at VNA.
Thoughts and prayers 🙏 God bless from Marlene and Tom Morris
I offer my deepest condolences to Mike's family. Mike was such a vibrant individual - I remember many meetings in which he was a participant; he always brought great insights to the discussion at hand and livened up the atmosphere! I enjoyed learning from Mike and will miss him greatly.
