Dad, I am so lucky to have been given one of the best gifts of all - YOU!! I have so many fond memories, too many to write. You and mom have always given Mike and I so much love and support, we could not have asked for better parents!! I know at times you were hard on us (believe me we totally deserved it) but that is what made us who we are today and I am forever grateful!! I honestly cant imagine one day without you but i know we will be together again one day. I love you and miss you so much!! Rest in peace dad. Love you with all my heart!! Mr. Snyder was an awesome teacher. I had him for Basic Biology and because of him I went on to Biology II. I then followed in his footsteps by becoming a teacher. I will always remember and respect him.

Mike was my best friend and we have so many memories. We met at Lewistown H,S. when he taught Biology and I taught Math back in 1963. He hunted on our farm for deer and my mother loved him when he went in the house. We used to talk on the CB radios on the way to work. His handle was rainbow any mine Deerslayer.. We often fished before and after work. We fished all over Pennsylvania and I was a good fisherman but never as good as Mike. He taught me a lot. Even when we hunted and fished he talked about Rose. He loved Rose. We took 4 different trips to the West, 2 were hunting and 2 were fishing and often stayed in a tent. We have always stayed in touch and I tried to answer all his emails from his smart phone. I sent him a pile of pi ctures before Christmas of our trips and other stuff . It is spooky I would never see him again. He took me to Shamokin a couple times. I love you Mike. I am sure God will have you fishing somewhere.

As my principal and boss at Strodes Mills Middle School, Mike whipped SMMS into the "Golf Course" for all of us. I have thought of him many times over the years. My sympathy and prayers with love go out to Rosalie and the family. Donna Sunderland

Mike was an excellent educator , as well as a good fisherman and friend. He helped get me started in fly tying many years ago through his instruction at the Trout Unlimited fly tying class. He loved fishing the tide changes at Indian River Inlet, and was always willing to share his knowledge. Sympathy and condolences to Rosalie and his family. He will be missed.

'Uncle Mike' always had a warm welcome with his sidekick 'Aunt Rose'. I will forever be grateful for their generous hospitality and ability to hold a conversation about nearly any topic. They both are such loving and accepting individuals. I feel very honored to have known Mike! Rest easy, Uncle Mike and catch lots of fish in between berry picking sessions!
