Dear Kathy, Luke & Sarah,
On behalf of Jody and Alex, please accept my family's heartfelt condolences! Having left such an indelible mark in our lives during our time together at Sandy Spring Friends School and in the years to follow, our trio was both surprised and saddened to learn of Michael's recent passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours during this very difficult time. We hope you are able to find some strength and comfort through each other's love, as well as the love that surrounds you from other family and friends, coupled with all the very special memories you will carry with you of your blessed time together with Michael: loving husband, father and friend.
With Love & Sorrow, Eduardo, Jody and Alex Polón
Dear Kathy, Sarah and Luke,
It was with great sadness that we learned the heartbreaking news of Mike's untimely death. We have so many fond memories of Mike from our many years of carpooling Sarah and Susana to Oak View and EMS. He was always kind, funny, warm and considerate, and someone who we were so glad we got to know. May your many memories of him and your friends and family help sustain you in these difficult days. Much Love,
Ann Marie, Tom and Susana Perez
As a colleague from many years ago at the Federal Highway Administration, I have fond memories of Mike as a good person who cared about his work and the people he worked with. His good humor and great skill will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his family and many friends.
Mike was everything I could hope for in a close colleague and friend: wisdom, kindness, and a love of fun. He leaves a huge hole with all of us. But, he also leaves an indelible imprint on the way that we work and relate to each other. We are better for having known him. Thank you, Mike.
Thinking of you all fondly and remembering Mike. Hugs. May his memory be a blessing.
Best, The Wessel-Patten family
Kathy, Sarah and Luke, last night we hear about Mike and we are still in shock. We never meet anybody as nice as Mike. If I have to describe Mike, I have to say that he was like the Pope, he always wanted to do things peaceful and constructive, and you can only do that if you are a great listener which he always was. We will dearly missed him, The Borda family
Kathy, Sarah and Luke, we are so deeply sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Through the Rolling Terrace and Eastern years we have fond memories of Mike. He was a wonderful man. May his memory be a blessing. In friendship, The Kriv Ruther family
I am extremely sad to know of his passing. Mike was an excellent supervisor, mentor and good friend. Many people appreciated and loved him in the Dominican Republic, a country he very much loved. I am really at loss for words except to say that the world will not be the same place without him. He is and will be very missed.
