Mike's passion for music began at a young age, starting to play the keyboard at the age of 5 in 1961. His professional journey commenced around the age of 14 when he played the organ at skating rinks, eventually transitioning into a career at the Wurlitzer/Steinway factory owned stores, selling organs and pianos. Through hard work and perseverance, Mike expanded his business to include Michael G's Music & Electronics in 1984, which became a very successful venture. In 1998, he opened a second location and ventured into the online realm with Keyboardamerica.com, showcasing his forward-thinking vision for the future of the industry. Mike's extensive experience in the piano and organ industry spanned over five decades, during which he excelled as a performing artist. His contributions to the music community were recognized through various performances, including appearances with notable figures like Jack Jones and Phyllis Diller.
