Michael Daniel Jaszemski's Obituary
Michael Daniel Jaszemski, age 75, of Monongahela, PA, formerly of Sussex County, DE, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Montefiore in Pittsburgh. He was born on December 27, 1946, son of the late Michael and Adelaide Frances (Holloway) Jaszemski.
Mr. Jaszemski enjoyed a twenty-nine-year career at the Sussex Central Junior and Senior High School. During summers and after his retirement, he worked as a real estate agent. He was an avid lifetime learner and was often found studying. In addition to learning, he loved the beach and all things associated with it. He deeply loved his family and worked hard to provide, care, and support them. Mr. Jaszemski was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jaszemski was preceded in death by his beloved wife of thirty-three years, Carol Lee (Hormell) Jaszemski, and his son, Matthew Jaszemski. He is survived by his sons: Jason Daniel Jaszemski of Dunleer, County Louth, Ireland, and Joseph Michael Jaszemski (Ashley) of Ocean Pines, MD; his grandsons: Sam, Jonas, Rhys, and Linus Jaszemski, of Dunleer, County Louth, Ireland; his granddaughter, Emma Jaszemski of Ocean Pines, MD, and his brother, Kevin Jaszemski, of Volant, PA.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Pilottown Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes, DE.
