Truly one of the "good guys". I worked with Mike four years at Habitat and saw him interact with all kinds of people during that period. His knowledge about houses was out matched by his ability to make others feel comfortable and make them smile. I'm a better person for having known him. "Another box Mike!"
Mike was a good friend, talented craftsman and very dependable. We enjoyed the times we went out with Mike & Amy and the laughs we had at his incredibly funny dry humor. We will never forget Mike and only wish we could have had more time to enjoy his company; however we are very fortunate that we will keep our memories of Mike alive as we see the product of his talents throughout our home, especially our pool house. We will miss him.

We met Mike when our son and his daughter became engaged. He struck us as laid back, humble, great sense of humor, hard worker, loved to bake, cared for others-(Habitat for Humanity), and always had a deep and caring love for his family. Our last memory of him is watching his 5 year old Grandsons baseball game. Our prayer is that God will grant his lasting peace to his family and all of those who loved and cared for Mike. We felt honored to have met Mike and to have been a very small part of his life.
