I had the privilege of having Mike as my supervisor at OPM in the mid 1990's. He was an absolute delight. He took his duties as a Civil Servant to heart. He was caring, knowledgeable and funny. My husband Dave and I worked with Mike and Josie for many years at OPM. We became good friends and enjoyed many outings over the years to Nats and Os games highlighted by a weekend trip to NYC, along with many dinners and visits to their lovely home in DE. Mike was a great guy and his dry humor always kept us laughing. His ability to recall events and subjects he had read about in detail kept us amazed He was very dedicated to his job at OPM and provided great service to both his customers and to his employees. I am sorry to hear of Mr. Flagg's passing. I never met him in person, but communicated via email at work. He was professional, courteous, thorough, prompt, and funny. He once responded to my email with a simple made-up word: Mennithanx. I was new to the government at the time and his light-hearted response put me at ease. So, Mr. Flagg, mennithanx to you! God bless you and your loved ones.
Mike and I were good friends since the 1980's. He always knew the answer, no matter the question. My heart is with you, Josie, andwith all of Mike's surviving family and relatives.
