I am so saddened by Mike's passing. We met in 1987 when we worked together at Talleyville Post Office and remained friends. He was the most fun and kind person. He would stop over to see my parents & lend a hand when they lived around the corner from him in Cleveland Heights., I was so happy for Mike when he introduced me to his soulmate, Nelson. My heartfelt condolences to Nelson, Logan, Mason and all of Mike's dear friends and everyone who had the honor of meeting such an amazing man. RIP - Love you & will miss you, Mike!
I was so deeply saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Mike was the nicest man / parent to work with at Rehoboth Elementary. Always happy, positive and so easy to work with. He always took the time to chat with me.
Holding his boys and Nelson in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Rest easy, Mike! You are so missed.
I am so very sorry for your family’s loss of Mike. We were neighbors in Colonial Heights, and it was always nice to see Mike and have a quick chat. Such a good person and great neighbor! Saying prayers for peace for your family.
Nelson and sons, am sorry for your loss. Mike was a truly good guy and will be missed by all of us.
I knew Mike from his many heartfelt visits to his mom Helen, who resided at Cadbury, where I was the head concierge. We always joked about when we would both retire. I hope his partner and sons will have peace in their hearts, and honor Mike by living his example….kindness…..rest now Mike…. Carl Wright
Mike was a kind, gentle soul who always gave you a hello and warm smile. I'm sure he did the same at the Pearly Gates
Mike, I miss you more than words can express. I wish we would have been able to get together this summer. I wish we would have had time for that last FaceTime call. I will miss your inappropriate sense of humor that you and I shared. Most of all I will miss you because you made me a better person. My biggest cheerleader and always a SUPERSTAR! I hurt for your two sons who love you so much. And Nelson. Poor Nelson as we used to say. Watch over them because i know they miss you most of all. Erica
I met Mike and Nelson way back in the early 90s they were both always friendly. I was honored to attend their wedding. Watched them grow as a family when they adopted Mason and Logan. Mike and Nelson are great dads. Mike would always say hello no matter where we were. He will be sadly missed, but he will live on through his boys and the world will know what a great man he was. My heart goes out to Nelson, Mason and Logan.
