Michael Joseph Adamski's Obituary
Michael Joseph Adamski, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Born on December 7, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late Edward and Anna (Zoba) Adamski.
Mr. Adamski proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he developed a strong sense of discipline, camaraderie, and patriotism that stayed with him throughout his life. After his service, he built a long and dedicated career in manufacturing, working as a supervisor—a role in which he led by example and earned the respect of his colleagues.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Regina Adamski; his son, Michael Edward Adamski and daughter-in-law Lauren; his daughter, Joann McBride (Adamski); and his cherished grandchildren: Michael William and Julia Leah Adamski, and Hugh Donovan and Brian Shamus McBride. Mr. Adamski also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great joy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Edward, Bob, Frank, Cadmus, and James Adamski.
Mr. Adamski lived a full and vibrant life. He had a passion for travel—especially to Alaska, Germany, and America’s national parks. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: shooting pool, crabbing and fishing, beach days, a good game of ping pong, and making homemade pierogis with family during the holidays. Music was always playing in the background of his life, with Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond among his favorites. He was also a very talented karaoke singer, known for bringing a smile to everyone’s face with his heartfelt and spirited performances.
Above all, Mr. Adamski loved spending time with his grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and countless memories. He was a proud member of American Legion Post 28, the Lewes Elks Lodge, and the Moose Lodge. A dedicated animal lover and loyal fan of all things Philadelphia—especially the Phillies and Eagles—he embraced every moment with enthusiasm and heart.
