Oh, I am heartbroken.... I am only just now seeing this. My heart goes out to Melissa's Mom, Dad, and family.... Melissa was one of my closest friends at WMTHS. Her sweet spirit and beautiful smile have lingered in my heart all these years. The last time I saw her was when she dropped by Maple Road School to visit me when I was working there as a music teacher. I am so very sorry that we lost touch. When I got on Facebook and was able to reconnect with her I was overjoyed. For several years, Judi Wolf and I have been talking about going to Delaware to have lunch with "Mel". Melissa was a unique and amazing person and I know her family must miss her dearly. I wish I could have seen her again to let her know how much she meant to me.

meslissa, joining you at the ymca water exercise was the best thing I did for myself. you make me work and work to get off that wall and balance myself in the water. you made class so much fun! we all became friends to go out to lunch and join in on baby showers for member's grandbabies. I so looked forward to those mon.wed. and Fridays. I hope your looking down on us, making sure we are all doing our turtle necks right. always lovin' you and will miss you til we meet again. <3

I remember she was my best babysitting job. Never a problem. I am so glad we got together for Christmas a couple years ago. It was so great to spend time with you all. Melissa will surely be missed. My heart goes out to you all. Love you.
