Maureen E. Ward's Obituary
Maureen Ellen Ward, age 42, died Monday, May 5, at home in Lewes after a valiant battle with cancer. She was surrounded by those who love her. She was supported by the incredible staff of the Tunnel Cancer Center.
Maureen will be forever mourned by her parents R. Malachy and Catherine Ward; her brothers Robert and Malachy; her sister Christy Ann and her brother-in-law Thomas Snook; and her nephews Tadhg and Burke.
A Mass celebrating the gift of Maureen's life will be held Thursday, May 8, 1:00 P.M. at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, 2503 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE with the Rev. John Hynes as celebrant. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to Mass.
Maureen loved her Drama Group. In lieu of flowers it is suggested that contributions be made to AbleArts, Inc., 26 Fox Hunt Drive, PMB 231, Bear, DE 19701.
