Maureen Lee's Obituary
Maureen Lee, age 75 of Milton, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. Born in New York, NY, on February 23, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Della Daus.
A native New Yorker, Maureen was a graduate of St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School in the Bronx, NY. She earned a degree in Business from St. John’s University in New York, NY. She went back to school later in life to pursue a career in Nursing, which was her real calling. Maureen married the love of her life, Eddy Lee, and the two would spend over five decades together, raising a family and creating countless beautiful and happy memories. In 2015, Maureen and Eddy decided to make their home in Milton, DE to be close to the beach, which was Maureen’s favorite place to be. Maureen enjoyed sitting by the ocean and dancing with Eddy & friends whenever she had the chance.
Maureen was always thinking of other people above herself, which is why Nursing was the ideal profession for her. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend. Her family and friends will forever miss the beautiful smile and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence.
Maureen is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Johnathan Davis), son, Christopher (Elizabeth) and her grandchildren, Nora, Seamus and Jaxson Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes DE.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM.
