Aunt Maude,
I thought I saw your face today in the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard an angel say
your work on earth was finally done.
I thought I heard your voice today that laughed your hearty laugh.
And then I heard an angel say
that you were now in peace at last.
We all will miss you, Aunt Maude, with your personal warmth and caring, your many words of wisdom, your great smile, and your delicious chicken and noodle casserole. I am proud to have ‘known’ you every day of my life as you were there to aid in my birth some 70+ years ago. Thank you, Aunt Maude, for so very much. Love, Ginnie (Niece), husband Dr. Bill Rice, and sons, Grantland and Garrett Rice and their families.
