Mary A. Yeatman Bittell's Obituary
Mary Yeatman Bittell, age 47, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Beebe Medical Center. She was born in Wilmington, DE, on Tuesday, July 14, 1964, daughter of the late Charles Yeatman and Shirley(Golden) Yeatman In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Pettee.
Mrs. Bittell graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and was employed by W.L. Gore for several years before moving to Lewes. The family wishes to extend a debt of gratitude to the ICU staff at Beebe Medical Center for their loving care of Mary.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, David A. Bittell of Lewes and their son, David C. Bittell at home. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends as well as her pet dog Sandy.
A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Conley's United Methodist Church, 22150 Robinsonville Road, Lewes, DE (original chapel); Pastor Mike Hurley will officiate. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Conley's United Methodist Church at the above noted address.
