Mary Virginia Walters' Obituary
Mary Virginia (Morarity) Walters, age 79, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Beebe Medical Center in Millsboro, DE. She was born April 16, 1929 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Ruby (St. John) Morarity.
Mrs. Walters is survived by four sons: Tony Pedone and wife Lora of Rogers, AR, Joe Pedone and wife Patti of Newark, DE, Vic Pedone of Portage, IN, and Dino Pedone and wife Sandra of Portage, IN; two daughters: Lisa S. Edmonds and husband John M. of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Mary Garner and husband Rick of Seaford, DE; seventeen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Evelyn Wright, Theresa Maletta, and Peggy Brown, all of Portage, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Simon P. Walters (1994) and son John Pedone (1974).
A Catholic Blessing Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
