Mary Virginia Wagstaff's Obituary
Mary Virginia "Ginger" Wagstaff, age 82 of Lewes, Delaware, formerly of Falls Church, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware. She was born on June 14, 1937 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Joseph and Mona Lisa (Nallin) Wagstaff.
Ginger had an illustrious career and lived life to the fullest through her dedication and service to her friends, community and country. She worked for many years in human resources at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as well as the Andrew Rader Health Clinic at the Fort Myer Army Base in Arlington, Virginia.
She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, bringing joy and wisdom to all of those she encountered. In Ginger's own words, "My life has been miraculous, filled with fabulous, priceless treasures and sacred gifts from all of you who have touched my soul and spirit."
Ginger was eternally grateful for the love she received and all who knew her are eternally grateful for the love she shared as she skipped down the road to happy destiny.
Ginger is survived by her cousins: Morna Padden Cirillo, Maris Padden Barrett, Mary Joyce Boyle Murphy and John Paul Boyle; and her dear furry companion, Lovie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Interment will be private.
