Mary Jo Tyndall's Obituary
Mary Jo Wilhelm Tyndall, age 93, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, died quietly on April 9, 2014, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE.
She had enjoyed good health and a happy life until the last. She was born November 14, 1920 in Wilmington, Delaware and was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She taught elementary school and ended her 26 year teaching career in 1975 in the Mount Pleasant School District in Wilmington. She lived in Barefoot Bay, Florida for 19 years with her husband, Thomas Woodrow Tyndall who died in 1989. She enjoyed golf, bridge and was a world traveler.
Surviving are her daughter, Judith T. Jester and her husband David, two grandchildren, Thomas Dean and his wife Jodi and Mary Dean Whittington and her husband David. There are four great-grandchildren, Thomas Maines, Bethany and Lawrence Whittington and Jenna Dean.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
