Mary Elizabeth Sylvester of Dover, Delaware passed away with her children by her side on March 27, 2019. She was the widow of George F. Sylvester Jr. (Ted) who passed away in March of 1989. Mary was the daughter of Carroll Austin Read Obituary
So very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. My family Loren and Gertie Becker lived next door to Ted and Mary in White Oak Farms many years ago.

We had a lot of great times with Mary and Ted. Our loss is Heavens gain.
My name is Crissy, Mary is my grandmom... I have so many memories with her growing up into adult now with my own children, her great grandchildren.. My most recent was our drive from Dover all the way to Florida. I am so blessed to have gotten that time with her, with no idea it'd be the last. We laughed, talk about so much and even yelled at each other. She may have threaten to break my arm once or twice if I didn't slow down! Grandmom I sure wish I drove slower, I wish we took days and never stopped driving. My favorite part of our trip was when we decided to take a u-turn so I could get out and pick cotton from a cotton field we saw on the road.. Ill keep my cotton for EVER!!!
