Mary D. Russell's Obituary
Mary (Parks) Russell, 60, of Millville, DE, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 24,1947, in Cresson, PA, daughter of the late William and Mary Parks.
Mary loved her many family and friends and was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7234 and Moose Lodge 2204. She worked in the medical field as an insurance billing and collections coordinator. She was also a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bethany Beach.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Parks. She is survived by her remaining brothers and sisters and their spouses: Albert (Kay), Margaretville, NY; Anita Burk, Cresson, PA; Daniel Parks, Cresson, PA; Rose Marie (Joe) Dolansky, Centerville, VA; Gerald Parks, Lewistown, PA; Susie Ellis, Cresson, PA; Sally (Joseph) Horvath, Rehoboth Beach, DE; Richard (Barbara), Erie, PA; and Peter (Anne) Parks, Lewistown, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Russell will be buried in her hometown of Cresson, PA. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947, or to St. Ann's Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, P.O. Box 149, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.
