Mary Ann Mohacey's Obituary
Mary Ann Mohacey of Lewes, DE passed away on March 29, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norristown Pennsylvania, she graduated from Girls High School in Philadelphia. She then went on to nursing school at Abington School of Nursing in Pennsylvania and became a Registered Nurse. On November 19, 1954 she married the love of her life Charles W.A Mohacey JR. and spent 64 wonderful years as a wife, mother of three sons, a grandmother, and a great- grandmother. Most of their married life was spent in Pennsylvania, then later retired to Lewes Delaware where they have lived for the past twenty years.
Mary Ann enjoyed a full career as a nurse in many different facets including finishing her career as a volunteer Hospice nurse in Lewes. Mary Ann had many hobbies and loves including; sailing, playing tennis, and the hobby she did best was baking pies. Mary Ann also had a great love and devotion to The Lewes Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon, sang in the choir, and was a Kelly Girl that involved her in many other church activities. Mary Ann will be truly missed by her husband, and family, and all of the lives she has touched.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband Charles, her sons Charles III, Peter and his children Jason and his wife Nicole, and their children Ava, Hunter, and Addison, and Megan and her husband Sean their children, LoLa and Hazel, and Paul and his wife Susan and their children, Matthew and Hanna.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Lewes Presbyterian Church, 113 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lewes Presbyterian Church Deacon Fund at the address listed above.
