The last time I saw Mary Lou was at my cousin Anne’s funeral. We kept in touch after that but the last time I talked to her, I feared it might be the final time. I am so thankful I got to meet this amazing woman, who was my cousin’s best friend! Every time I would visit Anne I got to see her. She was one of the funniest people you could ever meet. Rest In Peace and give my cousin a big hug!
Mary Lou was one of the funniest women I've ever met. She had a keen mind and would offer her point of view to discussions. She was one of a kind, and I will really miss her. She faced her illness with such courage. God bless Mary Lou and her family. Sending love and prayers.
I will always remember Mary Lou’s wry wit that she brought to many situations. She was a true friend to others. She showed great strength and determination in life and will be missed. Bless you, Mary Lou. You have found peace.
I used to love it when Mary Lou called me on the phone or stopped by my office. It was always a visit. We talked, shared information about our families, and then got down to business. I have long left that Rehoboth office, but I would still get a call now and then with I "Hey there gal, this Mary Lou. What's cookin'". And once again we spent a little time talking about the things of the world before getting down to business. I will miss hearing from her. I'm glad her illness is over, and that now she can rest in God's arms. She sure earned it.
I am gonna miss "hey baby!" She always brought a smile and chuckle. A life well lived.

Mary Lou you were one of a kind. Direct, funny, sarcastic and always with that smile. Your battled your illness for years like it was no big deal and kept fighting on. The Spring Lake community will miss you. You volunteered so much time to keep the community great. I will miss your friendship, your smile and determination. May you rest in peace.
Mary Lou never ceased to amaze me & will always be remembered for her quick wit, often sarcastic remarks, that would delight or entertain. Often I reminisce about all the fun times, the laughter, the games we played! She left such a great legacy with her strength of never giving up & was determined to live & give cancer a fight to the bitter end. I will miss her forever in my heart. I remember the time I was taking Mary Lu home from school we got tired of waiting for the crossing guard to let us go she got out of the car stood in front ofthe crossing guard with her hand up motioned me through got back in the car and we left. So many memories so many fun times !!
