Mary Ann Ferraro's Obituary
MaryAnn Ferraro
January 10, 1944 – January 24, 2026
MaryAnn, a woman of radiant beauty and even deeper kindness, passed away on January 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and 61 years of cherished memories with her husband Armand. Known for her striking blue eyes and a spirit that made everyone feel at home, MaryAnn lived a life defined by her devotion to her family and a relentless appetite for life’s adventures.
Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Mary Ann attended South Catholic High School where she was a member of the Donettes. After graduation, she pursued a degree in nursing and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a resident of Bridgeville, Delaware and former resident of Longmont, Colorado, and Endicott, New York. Mary Ann enjoyed spending winters at the Commodore Club on Marco Island, Florida.
A woman of many talents and interests, MaryAnn was an avid golfer who found peace on the green. While she played with skill, she was most known for her generosity of spirit, always willing to offer a patient lesson to friends who asked for her guidance. Her life was a collection of diverse passions: whether she was sailing, skiing down a mountain, playing a competitive game of racquetball, or admiring the craftsmanship at a car show, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm.
Many of her most cherished memories were made on the open road during motorcycle trips with Armand, part of a 61-year marriage that was a true partnership. Their journey was filled with travel and a wide circle of special friends who became like family. Yet, Mary Ann also found joy in the quiet intervals—studying nutrition to help others or spending a simple evening watching a movie, hand-in-hand with Armand.
Her sharp mind was often on display during card games, and her heart eventually led her back East, a move motivated entirely by her desire to be near her son, Anthony, and his fiancé, Elaina. To MaryAnn, time spent with family was the ultimate treasure.
MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Harold, and Helen Brennan; her brother, Donald Brennan; her beloved son, Armand (Chef A.J.), and one great-grandson Jackson.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Armand; her son, Anthony and his fiancé, Elaina; three grandsons; and two great-grandsons. Her memory will also be carried on by her four nieces, her nephew, and the many friends who shared in her wonderful adventures.
A Celebration of life will take place in the near future.
