Mary Ellen Douglas' Obituary
Mary Ellen Douglas, age 73, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 11, 1937. She and her husband retired to Lewes from Carbondale, IL 11 years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William R. Douglas, one son; Timothy Douglas and his wife Kim, of Bear, DE, one daughter, Leigh Joos and her husband Tom of Frederick, MD and four grandchildren; Jordan Douglas and Elena , Eric and Connor Joos.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 5:00 PM at the New Covenent Presbyterian Church, 3072 Savannah East Drive , Lewes, DE 19958.
In lieu of flowers; family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
